Rad-X-lin

Rad-X-Lin (RXL) started in 1998 with just two factory trained technicians looking after four machines (Linear Accelerators) for a single customer. Since then, RXL has expanded its service capabilities across the whole country, looking after over five times the amount of equipment we originally started off with and for several different customers. We are able to handle all aspects of Radiotherapy equipment, from routine Preventative Maintenance, to in-depth specialised fault repair. We are able to new install equipment, from the mechanical installation through customer acceptance testing and handle complete machine relocations, assisting also with project planning should this be required.
We have formed close alliances with the OEM's and are now seen to be working with them as opposed to being in competition through special  ‘Shared Service' agreements. Because of these close alliances, our technicians have access to Factory Training and various other service facilities and tools allowing us to attend to faults in the most efficient ways possible. From time to time, our technicians assist the OEM's by helping them with their own customer problems. As we are a Service Provider dedicated to only Radiotherapy equipment, we are able to focus our entire attention on this modality, allowing us to offer a superior service.

Apart from Service and Installations, RXL is also a developer of special and custom solutions for  unusual equipment configurations and options. We have extensive experience in the various medical device communication protocols and standards (e.g. DICOM, HL7, TCP/IP) and have developed a number of custom software applications to address our customers' needs. We are able to offer advice and solutions for interfacing Radiotherapy equipment with other equipment modalities in the medical field e.g. Radiological devices.
